The Opportunity

We're seeking a Chief of Staff to the VP of Engineering who can operate as a trusted strategic thought partner, technical program driver, and communications amplifier. This role is not about scheduling meetings or tracking tasksit's about increasing the VP's leverage.

You'll partner closely with the VP of Engineering and leaders throughout the organization to connect engineering priorities with the company's broader strategy. You'll help move our biggest bets forwardfrom technical initiatives to org design and process excellence.

This is a high-trust, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, communication, and execution.

This role reports directly to the VP of Engineering and will be a full member of the engineering leadership team.

What You'll Do

Within 3 Months

• Build a deep understanding of Hatch's organizational and technical ecosystem
• Form strong partnerships with leaders from within Engineering as well as Product, Design, Content and Marketing in order to connect siloed work streams
• Create a consistent and transparent communication cadence that highlights engineering's achievements, roadmap, and impact, while openly addressing challenges.
