Manure Sales Specialist
GEA Group, a global leader in engineering solutions, is seeking a results-driven and relationship-oriented Manure Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll manage sales of manure handling equipment and related components while building strong relationships with dealers and customers across the Northeast U.S.

What You'll Do
Sales & Territory Development
- Build and nurture strong relationships with dealers.
- Grow market share by prospecting new dealer partnerships and opportunities
- Provide product expertise, demonstrations, and technical support throughout the sales cycle
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events
- Analyze customer needs, satisfaction, and trends to inform future sales strategy
Communication & Reporting
Report regularly through call reports and forecastsWork closely with the Manure Sales Director to align strategy and supportCommunicate warranty claims, product improvements, and dealer feedback to GEA teamsKeep dealers informed on GEA updates, bulletins, rebate programs, and policiesDealer & Project Management
Conduct annual business planning with assigned dealersSupport dealer growth through coaching and sales collaborationManage CRM updates, forecasting, signed documentation, and Terms & ConditionsEnsure up-to-date product knowledge across assigned dealer networkTraining & Development
Lead product training (sales, installation, software) for dealer teamsProvide on-site or remote support for system design and on-farm demonstrationsEncourage dealer participation in GEA-led classes and technical trainingAssist with onboarding and ramp-up for new dealersTime in the Field
Spend 6080% of your time in the field with dealers and customersMaintain an organized schedule and submit timely reports and itinerariesAttend GEA internal meetings and collaborate cross-functionally as neededYour Profile / Qualifications
What You'll Need
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or related field preferred24 years of sales experience, preferably in ag-related products or capital equipmentExperience with barn layout, herd management, and farm financial documentation is a plusStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsComfortable working independently and within a teamExcellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platformsAbility to read blueprints and floor plansTravel Requirements

GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
