About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Corporate Counsel to lead the establishment and management of its legal and compliance infrastructure. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the company's national growth and will have a direct impact on its development. This role requires a legal professional with a J.D. and a strong background in areas such as labor law, food safety regulation, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. Experience in providing legal guidance to business leadership, particularly in the context of restaurant, QSR, hospitality, or multi-unit operations, is highly valued. Key responsibilities for the Senior Corporate Counsel include implementing and maintaining compliance programs related to various legal and regulatory areas, drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements, overseeing trademark filings and IP protection, and coordinating responses to legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to legal issues, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A background in a growth-stage or fast-moving company, as well as experience with CA labor law and marketing / advertising compliance, is preferred.
