Yard Jockey \- Distribution Yard

Schedule :

Saturday \- Monday, 6 PM \- 6 AM

(Extra hours available)

Pay :

Competitive, based on experience

Job Responsibilities :

  • Move trailers in and out of docks using yard goats
  • Perform

yard audits

at end of shift

  • Complete

    • pre\- and post\-trip inspections

    and submit reports

  • Follow

    • safety guidelines

    for yard operations

  • Drop and hook

    • trailers as needed

  • Use the

    • Yard Management System (YMS)

    to request and complete trailer moves

  • No off\-site trailer moves

    • \- all work is within the customer's yard

    Requirements :
  • Team player

    • with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to

    • read and follow safety rules and procedures

  • Comfortable working in a

    • fast\-paced yard environment
