Belden Broadband Solutions is a leading provider of high-performance optical networking equipment with our Precision Optics line of optical transceivers, transport solutions and access technologies which power broadband, service provider, data center and enterprise networks. We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to grow our market share. You will leverage your expertise in telecom and optical networking to drive demand for our solutions and play a key role in expanding our customer base. This role includes approximately 80% travel to customer sites, trade shows and key industry events.

You will make an impact in the following ways :

• Drive new business development efforts by identifying, targeting, and acquiring new customers in T1 MSO accounts
• Act as a subject matter expert on Precision's portfolio of optical transceivers, PON, CWDM / DWDM and optical transport solutions
• Qualify leads, understand customer pain points and present tailored solutions to address network requirements
• Engage customer engineering and procurement teams during the sales cycle from qualification to close
• Develop account plans and execute territory strategies to exceed sales quotas and growth goals
• Manage date in Salesforce, providing accurate and timely opportunity, pipeline and forecast reporting
• Collaborate with product, engineering and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Participate in lab trials, interoperability testing and homologation efforts when necessary
• Represent at industry conferences and regional events to generate leads and build relationships

What you will bring :

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $150,000 - $180,000 and Sales Incentive Plan, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
