Must be willing to work safely and keep OSHA recordable incidents to a minimum. Proficiency in understanding construction scheduling, with intimate knowledge of Primavera P6. Proficiency in operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
SUMMARY :
Enscicon is hiring for a Construction Project Manager with 5-10+ years of Heavy Industrial Construction experience, specifically in Water / Water Treatment projects, for a field assignment in Western Colorado.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide third-party oversight, representing the owner’s interests, and work to maintain a working relationship with the other on-site contractors.
- Read, understand, and plan according to the work specifications and contract responsibilities
- Anticipate project conflicts, communicate preventative action plans, and implement solutions to avoid issues
- Understand and plan work according to project plans, change orders, shop drawings, subcontracts, purchase orders, and monthly pay estimates
- Monitor the costs on the project and implement strategies to stay within budget
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge / skill
- Oversee daily field activities leading to optimal progression of the project with Superintendents
