Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant responsible for supporting patient care through tasks like registration, scheduling, and assisting physicians during examinations. The role also includes managing vital signs, health history collection, and providing exemplary customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.

Return calls and answer MyChart messages.

Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures.

Assist with immunizations or injections, if certified.

Handle prescription requests, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, and update charting and filing.

Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.

Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.

Exemplify excellent customer service following the CARE values.

Qualifications

Certification not required, but recognized certifications include CMA, CCMA, RMA.

Skills

Proficient in measuring vital signs and collecting health history.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
