Location : Indianapolis, IN

Salary : $140,000 - $175,000 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Indianapolis employer seeking a Controller. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong leadership skills who is ready to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities :

Oversee accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger

Manage month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and review financial statements

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives

Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA designation strongly preferred

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proven ability to manage teams and complex operations
