Senior Buyer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Buyer for a 3 months Contract position with a client located in Phoenix AZ (Hybrid - 3 Days onsite and 2 Days Remote)

Pay Range : $35.00- 40.00 / hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

The Buyer will be responsible for identifying and procuring materials, goods, and services required by the organization. This role involves researching suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, supplier management, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Manage purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define purchasing needs and specifications.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Resolve any supplier-related issues and discrepancies.
