Description
St. Mary's Episcopal School is looking for coaches to lead its competitive and talented mock trial team. These positions require individuals with experience in the legal field, a positive coaching style, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and skill development. Coaches will report to the Chief Financial Officer and are expected to uphold the school's values while creating a supportive and motivating environment for students..
Responsibilities :
Teach students the fundamentals of trial advocacy, including opening statements, closing arguments, direct and cross-examinations, and the application of evidence rules.
Serve as a positive role model for players, demonstrating sportsmanship, leadership, and integrity at all times.
Organize practice schedules, coordinate with legal professionals, and manage logistics for practices, scrimmages, and competitions, including transportation and facility use.
Attend all practices and competitions, ensuring that all students a focused on maintaining safety and well-being.
