About The Position

Patient Care Technician - Portland, OR - Start Date : ASAP - Shift : 5 x 8hr; Thursday - Monday DAYS - Ratios : 1 : 15-25 - Years of Experience REQ : 1 year of prior experience working with seniors required - First-Timers Accepted : No - Weekend REQ : Every weekend - Certs REQ : BCLS - Is On-Call REQ? : No - Will this traveler need to float between like units? : No - Open to accommodating block schedule? : Yes - Locals Accepted : Yes; Considered "local" within 50 mile radius, will accept locals at the same rate - Pending License Accepted :

• No License is required for this role
• RTO Restrictions : Confirm with hiring manager - Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off traveler UP TO 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks) Special Requirements - Traveler is expected to have reliable transportation and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation. - QuickMAR experience preferred but not required Daily Responsibilities - Assists as needed in providing or assisting geriatric participants / residents with personal care including but not limited to : bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with minimal support and supervision. - Schedules and coordinates tasks to be performed by other PCTs, in cooperation with other housing and clinic staff. - Participates in participant / resident orientation to the ElderPlace facility - Provides input and information for service / care plans Hospital Highlights - Type of Facility : Long Term Care / Assisted Living - Attire : Any color of scrubs - Charting : Net Solutions - Parking Cost : Free
