We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Materials Analysis Engineer to join our R&D laboratory team. This role focuses on the systematic teardown and analysis of electronic and packaging material to determine material composition and properties.

Summary

• Conduct material tests on primarily paper-based material and packaging materials, and some electronic materials
• Perform stringent analysis of results and identifying data trends.
• Use of SEM, FTIR and similar methods
• Experience with analytical instruments (spectroscopy, microscopy)
• Executing standard test methods
• Perform analysis and feasibility of materials that are involved in the automated packaging solutions
• Associated materials to consist of tape, labels and other adhesives
• Reporting / analyzing test result data, and also interpreting results specifically for testing
• Support R&D initiatives through systematic investigation of material properties
• Contribute to laboratory capability development and process improvements
