Job Description Summary Under the supervision of the Director of Athletic Training, team physician, and Athletic Director, this position is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. To optimize the activity and participation of over 700 athletes participating in 23 NCAA Division III-sanctioned sports and club sports as assigned.
This is a temporary non-exempt staff position scheduled to work up to 19 hours per week for a duration of up to nine (9) months. Responsibilities Athletic Team Coverage
Administrative Responsibilities
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and / or a Title IX Mandatory Reporter under the Clery Act and Title IX. As such, the successful candidate will be required to report any known or suspected incidents of sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and other specified crimes to the appropriate campus authorities.This position requires maintaining current certification as an athletic trainer through the BOC, Inc., and current certification in Emergency Cardiac Care. This position requires travel with teams to athletic competitions, including overnight and out-of-state trips. It requires flexibility in scheduling and evening and / or weekend hours. It may require providing your own transportation to various sporting events. A satisfactory DMV check will be required in order to drive university vehicles. Required Qualifications
