Experience Requirements :

1–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (required or preferred).

Experience with MIG, TIG, or Stick welding depending on the company’s process.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.

Familiarity with metal fabrication, cutting, and fitting.

Experience using grinders, saws, torches, and measuring tools.

Understanding of weld quality standards and inspection methods

Skills and Abilities :

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.

Ability to measure, cut, and align components precisely before welding.

Basic math and measurement skills (fractions, decimals, tape measure use)

Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.

Teamwork and communication skills for working in a production cell environment.

Optional but Valuable Experience :

Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication layout.

Welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, D17.1, etc.).

Experience operating robots or automated welding machines.

Knowledge of different metals (carbon steel, aluminum, stainless).

Basic understanding of weld repair

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, standing environments.
