Obtain a Class A Drivers license with no restrictions within 1 year of employment (training provided) Mechanical and electrical experience is preferred. Ability to work in all inclement types of weather. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and weekends if needed. Able to work on call. Davey Tree is looking for a highly motivated individual to work both independently and as a team to support our Biochar division in equipment operation.
Job Duties
- Including but not limited to the operation of front-end loaders, Skid loaders, horizontal grinders and biochar manufacturing equipment (training provided)
- Perform basic daily maintenance on equipment (training provided)
- Perform basic repairs as applicable on equipment (training provided)
- Daily record keeping and data collection.
- Maintain clean facility.
- Assist with coordination and logistics of inbound and outbound materials.
- Transportation with Class A semi of biomass and finished products.
- Provide unmatched customer service.
