Project Director - Power Generation / EPC Projects
Location : Tulsa OK Onsite Relocation Available
Pay : $150000 - $220000 annually
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead large-scale power generation EPC projects (1 GW) across the U.S. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing complex teams delivering high-value projects and driving innovation within the power and energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Direct the full Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) lifecycle for major power projects.
Oversee project scope schedule budget and critical path management.
Lead and motivate teams of 35-50 internal staff and 30-40 external vendors.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with executives and technical teams.
Ensure project delivery aligns with corporate standards client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Manage change control processes and adapt to evolving project parameters.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering project management or operations (Oil & Gas or Power Generation).
Proven track record delivering 1GW EPC projects on time and budget.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
PMP certification preferred; PE licensure is a plus.
Familiarity with Primavera MS Project and Power BI.
