Royalty Staffing is helping our client hire hands-on Automotive & Robotics Techs to support the build, maintenance, and operation of robotic platforms and modified vehicles. In this role, you will have a blend of mechanical, electrical, and field support work.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in automotive or robotics-related fields and are skilled in using diagnostic tools, reading technical diagrams, and working with electrical systems and components. You enjoy working on real-world systems in a fast-moving, technical environment.

Location - Austin, TX

Work environment - onsite

Expected pay amount - 22.00 - 30.00 USD Per Hour

Schedule - Monday - Friday, 9AM-6PM (Central Time)

Assignment length - 12 month contract

As an Automotive & Robotics Technician, you'll :

• Install and integrate sensors, compute modules, wiring harnesses, and other custom hardware.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on robotic systems and vehicle platforms.
• Perform preventative maintenance, retrofits, and hardware updates as needed.
• Support field deployments by providing on-site service, troubleshooting, and hardware swaps.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support testing and prototyping.
• Maintain tools, inventory, and clear documentation of repairs and procedures.
