job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLovelace Medical Center, with 263 licensed beds, provides comprehensive acute care including 24 / 7 emergency services, surgical services, robotic spine surgery, and specialized care in stroke, radiology, and oncology. Accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including direct patient care and staff management. May serve as Charge Nurse, overseeing professional nursing practices. Comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and quality care. Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing. Valid Nursing License (NM or NM compact license within 90 days of hire). BLS certification required within 14 days of hire or transfer into role. Department may require ACLS and / or PALS certification. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Minimum 2 years of experience in a specialty area. 2 years of general nursing experience.
