• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop accurate project scopes and budgets.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to provide precise estimates.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
• Maintain and update a database of pricing information and historical costs for reference.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and track project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and estimates.

The Successful Applicant

The Successful ApplicantA successful Construction Estimator should have :

• Proven experience in construction estimating within the business services industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex project data accurately.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
