Nurse Educator – Acute Care | Full Time | Everett, WA

Overview

As a Nurse Educator in acute care, you'll guide clinical teams through evidence-based education, professional development, and innovative learning strategies. This full-time day shift position offers a dynamic opportunity to empower frontline caregivers and elevate patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate education programs that enhance nursing practice and clinical performance
Serve as a mentor, consultant, and change agent to support nurses' ongoing professional growth
Lead orientation, competency training, and continuing education using adult learning principles
Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based care and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Master’s in Nursing (or enrolled with completion in 18 months)

Active Washington RN license and BLS certification through AHA

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty area

Experience developing and delivering adult education or staff training programs

Preferred Qualifications

National certification in nursing specialty

Experience as a formal educator or clinical preceptor

Leadership experience in staff development or quality improvement

Familiarity with simulation training and high-fidelity learning tools
