Description

Our client is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join the Cloud Security Team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Cyber Security. This role centers on securing the company’s SaaS application ecosystem using CrowdStrike Falcon Shield SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM). The ideal candidate is experimentation-driven, results-oriented, and skilled at collaborating across business and technical teams to drive remediation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of new SaaS applications with CrowdStrike Falcon Shield, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective onboarding.
• Perform rule tuning and configuration within Falcon Shield to maximize alert fidelity and minimize false positives.
• Continuously monitor SaaS application security posture, identifying misconfigurations, vulnerable options, and other risks as reported by Falcon Shield.
• Partner with business teams to remediate findings, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
• Track and report remediation progress to both technical and leadership audiences, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, policies, and procedures for SaaS security operations.
• Create and manage key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of SaaS security and remediation efforts.
• Assist with triaging potential security incidents related to SaaS applications.
• Promote security and privacy by design through effective collaboration with stakeholders.
