CONVERSE CONSULTANTS is seeking an entry-level professional for the Monrovia office as an Environmental Staff Coordinator to participate in proposals, project set-up, field work and reporting. Specifically, working to become a Certified Asbestos & Lead Paint Technician and on the completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in environmental science or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write technical reports and proposals
- Ability to perform field work requiring physical exertion
- Valid driver's license and insurance with driving record acceptable to our insurer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Assignments usually include :
proposal generation, project set-up, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos & lead paint consulting, mold & hazardous materials consulting, field sampling, report preparation.May also include field exploration, subsurface borings and trenches, collection of air, soil, and water samples, research investigations and other activities of limited scope.Night and weekend work, and travel may occasionally be required. Work will include regional support of all Southern California Environmental operations.
