About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Deal and Rights Management to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the deal management process for all of the company's agreements and overseeing the rights "in" and rights "out" management in connection with worldwide distribution. This role is pivotal in supporting the company's long-term growth strategy and requires a professional with a comprehensive understanding of deal terms across various media platforms. The Executive Director will lead a newly formed team, ensuring the integrity of all metadata, financial terms, and rights information, and will be involved in all deal management activities from contract review to data entry. Applicants should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in deal and rights management, preferably within a television distribution company or department. The role demands a proven ability to interpret and understand deal terms in various agreements, as well as demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite are essential. While not a dealbreaker, familiarity with Rightsline and Salesforce is a plus.
