Model / Analysis / Validation Officer

Citibank, seeks a Model / Analysis / Validation Officer for its Irving, TX location.

DUTIES : Work with Modeling, Risk, and Project Management teams to perform high-level design and to determine implementation and system deployment requirements to meet business needs. Determine computing resources required, develop professional grade code that is efficient and accurate, debug software logic errors to ensure software can be deployed and executed in a production system that meets the business objectives to perform credit review, credit approvals, and monitoring of the portfolio performance. Provide ongoing support of business objectives by preparing and implementing multiple coding packages into a single cumulative patching package across various platforms. Utilize model specifications document and design and develop professional-grade C programing language code that yields the result dictated in the specification document. Test, debug, and validate C programming language code to prepare for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Implementation Testing (PIT). Perform formal UAT and PIT to ensure code is implemented accurately and executed per requirements and the proper controls are in place to monitor execution. Write Linux Scripts to automate and efficiently debug complex coding logic and results. Work with Modeling team to understand organizational goals and how effective and efficient code deployment can help meet those goals. A telecommuting / hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or in a related field, and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation building and executing unit test cases. Eight (8) years of experience must include : Analyzing, designing, developing, and troubleshooting software for commercial or end user applications; Implementing software in C / C++ language; Performing testing debugging of applications; Building and executing unit test cases in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and SIT (System Integration Testing) environments; Implementing and testing cumulative patches; and Reviewing Integration Testing and Regression Testing plans. 40 hrs. / wk.
