Duties : Major job functions include performing nursing tasks to assure resident needs are met. This includes : monitoring resident needs, condition and care; administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; orders and receives medications from the pharmacy; admits and discharges residents; oversees TMA / NAR / RCA staff; ensures narcotic policy and procedures are followed; reports changes of condition to RN / Supervisor and physician as delegated; monitors for side effects of medication and reports prn; ensures resident care plans are being followed. Follows and upholds Resident Bill of Rights and facility policies and procedures; maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA requirements, etc. Provides excellent customer service and communication to all residents / families / visitors / MD's / coworkers, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? Do you enjoy serving and caring for seniors? Can you easily establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively? If yes, you might just be perfect for this rehabilitation nursing position!

WORK SCHEDULE

These full-time healthcare positions work 8-hour shifts : 6 : 00 am to 2 : 00 pm, 2 : 00 pm to 10 : 00 pm, or 10 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am. We are actively hiring for all shifts, and those do require working every other weekend.
