Library Technology Analyst (Systems Analyst)

Job Duties :

Our Client is searching for up to two Systems Analysts to assist in the implementation, management, maintenance, and support of Library technology systems and solutions.

• Translate business needs of Library units into functional requirements and technical specifications for systems / solutions.
• Provide system administration for Library solutions and configuration changes.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for supported Library systems and solutions.
• Create business process models for current state and future state of solutions.
• Create documents for implementations and upgrades.
• Assist in transitioning implemented products into operational support.
• Provide analysis and support for report requests, as required.
• Serve a project lead or subject matter expert for Library projects of various sizes and complexity.
• Develop and manage test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for user acceptance testing.
• Provide work plans and progress reports.
• Complete incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Assist in the change management process.
• Liaise with external system providers and partners for problem reporting and resolution, submit enhancement requests, and provide input on proposed changes and / or new products.
• Prefer candidates have experience in Symphony ILS, Enterprise, web services, BlueCloud Analytics, Library Market, Beanstack, Overdrive / Libby, Hoopla, etc.
