Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Engineer with deep expertise in servers, storage area networks (SANs), and networking. The ideal candidate will have experience working across enterprise-grade infrastructure, providing design, implementation, and support for data center solutions. This role requires regular travel to client sites, with all travel expenses and per diem fully covered.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, SANs, and network infrastructure in enterprise environments.

Support and optimize datacenter operations, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues across servers, storage, and networking layers.

Perform upgrades, migrations, and patching of hardware and software systems.

Collaborate with client IT teams to gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and ensure smooth implementations.

Provide detailed documentation, including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.

Participate in on-site projects, installations, and support activities at client facilities.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in Servers, SANs, and Networking.

Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure solutions, including :

Meraki

Juniper

Cisco

HPE

Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).

Experience with virtualization, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.

Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues under pressure.

Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIS, HPE ASE, or equivalent.

Experience with datacenter migrations or large-scale infrastructure deployments.

Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise service management.
