We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced Finance team. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in invoice and payment processing. You will also liaise with vendors, manage relationships, and resolve any issues that arise. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging, exciting environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the entire accounts payable process which includes matching, batching, and coding invoices, preparing and performing check runs, and processing electronic transfers and payments.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain vendor files and relationships, ensuring all contact details are up-to-date and accurate.
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, and payment discrepancies, and enforce strict adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices, maintaining accurate aging reports, and producing monthly financial and management reports.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure all invoices have appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Assist with financial audits, providing necessary information and documentation to auditors as required.
• Identify opportunities for process and efficiency improvement and implement new systems and processes as directed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in accounts payable.
