About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (21 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 3 years required, Trauma Level I experience required, well-rounded in most areas except Cardiovascular and Transplant

License : Must have an in-state license

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS and PALS preferred

Must-Have :

Trauma Level I experience

Ability to float within the facility as needed

Scrubbing experience preferred

Description :

This position requires assistance during surgical procedures in an operating room setting.

The candidate will circulate and scrub as necessary for various surgical specialties.

Experience in General, Plastic, Gynecologic, ENT, Trauma, Orthopedic, Urology, Neurosurgery, and Colorectal procedures is essential.

Candidates must be comfortable working with Robotics and have current experience in the operating room.

Call shifts are required, along with availability for major holidays.

The daily census is approximately 70-80 patients, across 21 rooms.

Candidates will be required to work closely with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

This role requires flexibility with scheduling and duties, including floating to meet facility needs.

The facility uses Cerner for charting.

The candidate will need to demonstrate a range of surgical skills, including minimally invasive techniques and traditional approaches.

Commitment to teamwork and collaboration is essential for success in this role.

Candidates should be prepared for various surgical environments and support interdisciplinary care.
