Facility Details : VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is actively recruiting to fill a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatologist to help care for our Veterans – America’s Heroes! Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment at Loma Linda University & be involved with education & teaching of medical students, residents & other providers. Position Details :

Evaluations / Consultations in diagnosing and treating skin disorders and diseases.

• Provide comprehensive direct patient care in both the ambulatory-outpatient and inpatient dermatology settings, including evaluation / consultation, examination, diagnosis, follow-up, medical record documentation / record-keeping and correspondence surgical procedures including staffing resident clinics.
• Interprets and evaluates clinical data for the purpose of determining diagnosis and clinical status.
• Participate in electronic consultations (e-consult) to improve access to dermatology care as well as increased use of Specialty Care Access Network-Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (SCAN-ECHO) to foster education and improve care.
• Participate in teledermatology store and forward consultations, virtual video connect visits, and myVAimage.

Work Schedule :   Monday-Friday, (Includes participation in On-Call coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays)

Salary Range : $340,000-$365,000

Board certification or Board eligible in Dermatology is preferred.
