Position : MRI Technologist

Type : W2 Contract

Location : Brooklyn, NY

Schedules : 5x8 - 4am - 12am shifts with rotating weekends

Pay Rate : $68HR

Overview : The MRI Technologist performs medically prescribed MRI procedures of designated anatomical areas under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physics / Sciences or related field
  • Completion of MRI training program.
  • Registered Technologist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • BLS Certification
  • Must have experience with Siemens 1.5T Aera.
  • Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of MR imaging, accurately and by established procedures and policies in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in patients of all groups.
  • Follow all regulatory guidelines and MRI safety precautions, working with the MRSO and MRMD. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations.
  • Contributes to total patient care by accessing pertinent patient information, processing images, ensuring correct images, accurate billing and file documentation, and recording information related to exams into the department computer system.
  • Performs other activities in support of clinical team members when not engaged in imaging activities
