Connect Staffing is seeking a temporary MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator for a metal fabricating company in Los Alamitos, CA.

Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 6 am- 4 : 30 pm, Fridays 6 am - 2 : 30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Requirements of a MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in general labor and / or construction.
  • Proven experience with MIG welding on carbon steel.
  • The ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Experience welding aluminum or stainless steel is a plus, but not required
  • Prior experience in roles such as Metal Fabrication, Ironworker, Sheet Metal Worker, Solderer, Brazer, and Welding Fabricator is a plus!

    • Responsibilities of a MIG Welder / Metal Fabricator

  • Perform MIG welding on various metal projects, primarily using carbon steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine layout and procedures.
  • Use hand and power tools to cut, grind, and shape metal parts.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
