As part of our team, you'd be developing breakthroughs that will revolutionize the future of stroke care. Every day, the technologies that we develop at Imperative Care directly impact human lives. Our focus is on the needs of the patient, and they come first in everything we do.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director, Professional Education and Training to lead the strategy, development, and execution of education programs. In addition, the Director oversees all aspects of sales training, including new hire onboarding and advanced development programs for the sales organization. Partnering closely with key internal stakeholders, this role ensures alignment on priorities and deliverables while maintaining a high degree of quality and consistency across all education and training initiatives supporting marketing and market development strategies for both the Stroke and Vascular businesses.

This leader will embody a builder mentality, thriving on the challenge of developing a best-in-class team, infrastructure, and portfolio of educational offerings that elevate physician engagement, clinical adoption, and patient outcomes.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for :

  • Collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Regulatory, and R&D) to align educational initiatives with product launches, business objectives, and clinical outcomes as well as onboarding of new hires and advanced sales training.
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team while fostering a culture of continuous learning and embodying our CARE values.
  • Developing strategic programs that address physicians' needs and align with business objectives.
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of education programs, including in-person training, virtual workshops, e-learning modules, and hands-on simulation labs.
  • Collaborating with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and subject matter experts to incorporate evidence-based and impactful training content.
  • Leading the creation of tailored programs for different clinician segments, including interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, and neurosurgeons, fellows and other healthcare professionals.
  • Leading strategic planning for training program development, program execution, and content creation (study materials, test materials, procedure guides and value propositions for each specialty - and ideally for each procedure), including online education offerings for both new hire and sales training.
  • Establishing KPIs to measure program effectiveness, participant feedback, clinical outcomes, and reach.
  • Preparing and managing the annual budget for professional education programs, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective allocation of resources. Monitoring expenditures and financial performance, adjusting as necessary to meet program objectives.
  • Ensuring all education programs comply with industry regulations, including AdvaMed Code of Ethics, FDA requirements, and global compliance standards.
  • Regularly reporting program performance and insights to executive leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and virtual training tools.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and cross-functional projects effectively.
  • Proven ability to listen, build trust and respect, and distill key insights into actionable strategies.
  • Effective leadership and sound judgment in directing strategic initiatives, adapting to change and influencing outcomes across organizational boundaries.
  • Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills; ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while dealing appropriately with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed professional with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities, navigating ambiguity and driving results in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficiency in program management, including scoping, resourcing, tracking, and delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Skill in staying current with industry's best practices and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the effectiveness of education programs.
