JOB SUMMARY

Monday to Friday 10 : 30am-7 : 30pm

Primary duties of this position are to assist in packaging shipments. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned.

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Package industrial electronics and related components for shipment
  • Maintain an organized shipping environment
  • Keep shipments on schedule
  • Any other duties as directed by supervisor or management.

May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned. _

  • Ability to work at fast pace

  • Problem solving abilities
  • Good communication skills

    • METRIC & MEASUREMENT

  • Package Handling - Employee must maintain standard packaging procedures that assure accuracy, while adjusting the volume of work.
  • Packaging counts are measured and checked for accuracy against standard. Employee must continue to maintain accuracy throughout the month for the bonus program.
  • Employee will be evaluated on the accuracy of the orders packaged and his / her performance level as measured against volume demand.
  • Employee will need to average 21 points per, 120 boxes per day.

    • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Occasional sitting, reaching / working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
  • Frequent walking
  • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion

    • BONUS / COMMISSION PLAN

    Eligible for commission after successful completion of introductory 90 days.
