First Line Of Defense Senior Risk Analyst

The First Line Of Defense Senior Risk Analyst will work within the Bank's first line of defense risk management function and will support the execution of the first line of defense risk management program. The Senior Analyst will work with the first line of defense managers and team leaders to conduct consistent and effective testing of control design and effectiveness.

This role requires an individual with knowledge of the Bank's policies, guidelines, and practices and the ability to support a developing first line testing and risk management program.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of first line testing of controls to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business unit controls.
• Conduct walkthroughs and help business units identify and understand the impact of applicable risks as part of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program.
• Manage assigned tasks and create detailed control testing documentation.
• Assist with the validation and closure of control issues.
• Work collaboratively with other team members across lines of defense.
• Keep stakeholders informed of testing progress and findings, and help escalate issues as needed
• Stay up to date and knowledgeable about current and emerging business risks.
• Provides support for special projects and initiatives.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $71,000.00 / Yr. - USD $120,000.00 / Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
