Qualifications

Job Requirements

• MD / DO Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited College of Medicine
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited medical residency program
• BC / BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Current CT State Medical License, DEA
• BLS, ACLS, CPR certifications (FP candidates)
• At least 2 years post residency preferred
• Previous UC experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with the following :
• Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, elderly
• Laceration repair, I&Ds, burn care, wound care
• Xray interpretation, splinting, minor fracture care
• GYN, STD testing
• EKG interpretation
• Occupational medicine
• Workers compensation
• Vaccine administration
