Position : Electrical Superintendent – Healthcare Construction

Location : Washington, D.C. Metro

Company : Top 10 Electrical Contractor

A top electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on complex healthcare construction projects across the Washington, D.C. metro area. This role is responsible for day-to-day site execution, safety, quality, and schedule coordination on hospital and medical facility builds.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise on-site installation of electrical systems on large healthcare projects
• Direct foremen, field crews, and subcontractors to meet quality and schedule goals
• Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and logistics with GCs and trades
• Ensure compliance with NEC, local code, life safety systems, and healthcare-specific requirements
• Maintain daily field reports, site documentation, and QA / QC standards
• Lead field planning for clean / sterile areas, emergency systems, and occupied spaces
• Resolve site issues quickly and collaborate with project managers and engineers
• Support commissioning and system turnover in coordination with hospital staff and third parties.
