Outstanding opportunity for a BC / BE OB / GYN to provide subspecialty care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, including actively participating in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students.

Position Highlights :

• This physician will join a department that provides safe, high-quality, cost-effective obstetrical and gynecological care using evidence-based medicine and best practices
• Physicians in this role will participate in gynecology service coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care
• Obstetrics is not mandatory
• The ideal candidate would lead the development of a comprehensive program to address the unmet needs of people with endometriosis
• In addition to outpatient care in our hospital-based clinic, there are opportunities for ambulatory time at our affiliated community health centers
• Our multi-disciplinary team includes OB / GYN generalists, specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, MIGS, Urogynecology, Gyn Oncology, Complex Family Planning, and Gender Health, along with Certified Nurse Midwives, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Genetic Counselors
• Newly renovated and expanding inpatient and ambulatory operating rooms with five DaVinci Robotic Surgical Systems.
• State-of-the-art simulation center
• Outpatient practice where generalists, subspecialists, CNMs, and APs practice side by side
• Extensive 24 / 7 backup system
• Care for a diverse patient population in a supportive and collegial environment
• We encourage involvement in research, education, quality improvement, safety initiatives, and / or hospital and university committees
• Applicants must have completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) or a similar program, or have extensive experience in MIGS
• Fluency in Spanish, or languages other than English, is highly desirable but not required
