ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Our DFW client a licensed engineering firm is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with a strong background in MEP engineering. This individual will play a key role in our engineering department managing projects and contributing to the design of innovative systems.

While specific training will be provided in water feature design principles we are looking for a candidate with solid engineering fundamentals proven project management experience and familiarity with the AIA design process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

• Manage engineering projects from conception through construction administration.
• Lead coordination efforts with architects landscape architects contractors and other consultants to ensure alignment with design intent and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
• Oversee internal and external communication keeping all stakeholders informed of project status milestones and potential risks.
• Facilitate design reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with codes standards and high-quality expectations.
• Mentor junior staff providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations as the technical representative for engineering.
