Summary of Position :

As a Structural Engineering Designer, you’ll get hands-on experience working on real projects across the U.S. while learning directly from seasoned engineers.

You’ll collaborate with a talented, multi-disciplinary team; Site / Civil Engineers, MEP Engineers, Architects, and Construction Project Managers, to bring projects to life. From day one, you’ll play a key role in producing complete construction documents, all while gaining exposure to client needs, building codes, and real-world site adjustments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
• Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
• Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
• Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets
• Attend project meetings

Work Location :

This role can be based out of various of our office locations, including Kent, WA; Bellevue, WA; Puyallup, WA; Richland, WA; Chehalis, WA; Roseville, CA; Ontario, CA; Bentonville, AR; Farmers Branch, TX; Philadelphia, PA; West Chester, PA; Tampa, FL; and Somerville, NJ.
