IT Field Technician

Position Summary :

The IT Field Technician provides entry-level technical support to employees across all Mississippi Sports Medicine locations. This position assists the IT team with basic troubleshooting, equipment setup, and day-to-day technology needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys helping others with technology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide first-line support for basic computer, printer, and phone issues.
• Assist with setting up, delivering, and installing IT equipment across clinic locations.
• Respond to helpdesk tickets and document resolutions.
• Support end users by assisting with password resets, software installs, and login issues.
• Maintain and organize IT inventory, cables, and spare equipment.
• Help perform routine maintenance such as system updates, reimaging computers, and cleaning devices.
• Travel between sites to provide hands-on support when needed.
• Escalate more complex problems to senior IT staff and assist with follow-up.
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude with all team members.

Qualifications :

Work Environment :

This position involves both office and clinical site settings. Some physical activity is required, including lifting and transporting computer equipment (up to 50 lbs). Occasional travel between Jackson, Flowood, and other Mississippi Sports Medicine locations is required.
