Web Designer for Exciting Environmental Non-Profit

Web Designer

We are excited to welcome another creative professional to our IT team as we continue building our new website. Our current designer will remain involved, but as she has transitioned into a full-time position, we are looking for an additional web designer to collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

We are seeking a web designer with a strong understanding of visual design principles and front-end implementation. Ideal candidates will have experience with :

• WordPress site design and customization
• CSS and HTML for layout and styling
• Basic familiarity with PHP and JavaScript (helpful, but design skills are the priority)
• Creating responsive, accessible, user-friendly interfaces
• Collaborating on design systems, wireframes, and page layouts

Experience working within a shared environment—such as Local WP, version control, and GitHub—is a plus, as you’ll be working alongside team members contributing to different parts of the site.

About Remineralize the Earth

At Remineralize the Earth, we promote REMINERALIZATION—the use of finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils and forests, increase crop yields and nutritional quality, and help store carbon in soils to stabilize the climate.

The Project

You will collaborate with the team on the design and front-end presentation of our new website over the next 3–4 months. The schedule is flexible, and we hold one meeting per week with the IT team.
