Minco is seeking a Design Engineer for our Flex Circuit engineering group. Design Engineers possess an understanding of general or proposed designs lead design support teams and participate in design development and selection. We are looking for a motivated high energy top performer with excellent communication skills to work in an agile team environment.

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to coordinate and execute new product development projects of varying complexity and scope.
• Apply fundamental design engineering principles and practices while working with proposed or updated product concepts and interpretation of customer requirements.
• Respond to questions and concerns from customers sales marketing and suppliers; investigate product concepts capability standards and other needs; communicate with the appropriate groups.
• Execute new product introduction processes to ensure smooth transition of products through all design phases starting with initial assessment and commencing with production launch.
• Lead teams regarding draft concepts technical documentation product application testing standards and related areas; develop and review a variety of reports documents and tests and adjust concepts or activities as needed.
• Provide technical support to production quality and other internal departments in a timely manner to solve internal challenges.
• Participate in design process and continuous improvement projects; ensure objectives and timelines are met and collaborate with engineering or production personnel as required to complete projects.
• Investigate evaluate and recommend new processes materials and tooling to continually accelerate Mincos leadership in design and manufacturing solutions quality productivity and innovation.
• Support the resolution of external inquiries and challenges by responding to questions and concerns from quality purchasing and customer service departments in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as identified.

Compensation : Range of $80000 to $130000 annual gross salary

Location : Fridley Minnesota
