The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the overall operations in assigned manufacturing organization. Develops strategies customer relationships and specific programs to achieve business objectives such as safety quality cost on-time shipment manufacturing technology and time to market goals.

Responsibilities :

Oversees and directs the development planning implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods processes and operations for new or existing products and technologies.

Establishes and / or implements business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of the production organization.

Leads employees in various manufacturing or product assembly support departments.

Works closely with quality groups to ensure strict compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines.

Prepares and reviews documentation reports and standard operating procedures.

May lead the new product introduction (NPI) process including prototype build and ramping of the new product to volume production.

Accountable for key metrics which may include revenue customer satisfaction and quality goals.

Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in chemistry biology engineering or related life science field; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

5 years of experience in manufacturing preferably in a regulated industry (e.g. pharmaceuticals biotech medical devices).

5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing teams or cross-functional projects is helpful.

Prior experience in a GMP oligonucleotide manufacturing facility preferred.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $139440.00 - $217875.00 / yr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
