Position Overview :
The EHR Management Information Technology & Data Analysis Specialist will be a key member of our Information Technology (IT) team, focusing on the management and optimization of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Credible. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, data analysis skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations to ensure the seamless integration and utilization of EHR technology.
Responsibilities : EHR Management :
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of the Credible (EHR) system to maximize its functionality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand workflow requirements and customize the EHR system accordingly.
Data Analysis and Reporting :
Design, develop, and implement data analysis processes to extract meaningful insights from EHR data.Generate regular reports and dashboards to support decision-making, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.Billing :
Utilizing the digital patient data within the EHR system to automate, streamline, and manage the medical billing process, including generating codes from clinical notes, verifying client’s insurance, creating and submitting claims and tracking payments.System Integration :
Work closely with IT and other departments to integrate the EHR system with other technology solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system reliability.Security and Compliance :
Monitor and enforce security protocols to safeguard EHR data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.Collaborate with the IT security team to implement and enhance security measures.Training and Support :
Provide training to end-users on EHR system functionality and best practices.Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving user issues related to EHR system usage.System Upgrades and Enhancements :
Stay informed about updates, patches, and new features of the EHR system.Coordinate and lead system upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with vendors and internal IT teams.Collaboration with Stakeholders :
Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and optimize the EHR system to support patient care and organizational goals.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in EHR systems are a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHR management and data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting.Proficiency in EHR platforms and demonstrated ability to customize and optimize system functionality.Strong data analysis and reporting skills using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms.Knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and security protocols related to EHR systems.
