Medical Assistant

Working under the supervision of the local practice MD, you will have the opportunity to work directly with patient care, testing and treatment. This role is perfect as a gap year between a certification program and Medical or PA school. Key responsibilities :

Administer tests and injections under a supervising physician.

Prepare customized patient immunotherapy vials.

Educate and support patients through their immunotherapy treatment journeys.

Administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and handling medical documentation.

Coordinate within the clinic to create visibility and presence for the allergy services.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year full-time clinical experience, medical office setting, customer service, or similar industry is preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required.

Experience with medical office and / or business software programs are preferred.

Schedule : M, W, F, 8am-5pm.
