We are looking for an Automotive Parts Manager to join the team at our busy auto parts center. If you are a mechanically-inclined automotive professional with strong management and communication skills, we want to hear from you.
As the Automotive Parts Manager, you will be responsible for duties ranging from managing service technicians to tracking inventory. You will use your negotiation skills to secure the best prices on inventory and ensure a consistent balance between supply and demand. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized and have in-depth knowledge of automotive parts.
Responsibilities
Maintain consistent inventory levels of parts to ensure auto repairs and sales can move forward without delay.Record and track auto parts sales and repair workMaintain auto parts warranty informationHire and manage auto parts department employeesProvide assistance, when necessary, with promotions or marketing efforts to increase salesEnsure all parts ordered meet the quality standards of the companySecure best available pricing on automotive parts using strong negotiation and communication skillsQualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredAt least one year of experience in auto repair or auto parts sales is requiredManagement experience is preferredStrong customer service, administrative, and organizational skillsDeep knowledge of automotive parts and industry
