Hi there! We’re BLKDG (pronounced Black Dog). We’ve been leading the Denver digital scene since 2013 with our expertise in building complex web solutions, and crafting really good user experience. And now BLKDG is seeking a highly motivated Creative Director to lead our agency into the future. This role blends creative leadership with the ability to roll up your sleeves to bring ideas to life across websites, campaigns, and digital experiences that make measurable impacts for our clients.

As the Creative Director, you will drive the creative vision and execution of high-impact digital content — from ideation through production and across web interfaces, paid media, and emerging platforms. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including strategy, media, content, and production to develop compelling and measurable creative that connects with audiences and drives results.

Who You Are

• A seasoned creative leader with 10+ years of experience in digital design, branding, or marketing creative—ideally in an agency environment.
• A business developer and strategist , helping shape creative direction in pitches, proposals, and client relationships.
• A leader and mentor dedicated to growing talent and building a collaborative, innovative creative culture.
• A galvanizer who can rally teams around a shared vision and deliver award‑worthy work that moves brands forward.
• A conceptual and strategic thinker with a standout portfolio that showcases leadership in web, UX, and marketing design across multiple industries.
• A hands‑on creative who’s not afraid to dive into design work, creative reviews, or client deliverables to help the team cross the finish line.
• A collaborative mentor who inspires through guidance, not ego—creating space for ideas, feedback, and team growth.
• A creative manager who defines clear revision and scope standards, ensuring process clarity and high‑quality output.
• A product‑minded thinker who understands how design systems, brand storytelling, and marketing performance intersect.

Compensation Range

$95,000 - $140,000 / year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. BLKDG anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 11 / 30 / 25.
