Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

Youll play a key role in ensuring Quality Cost and Delivery (QCD) management on software development activities contributing to the evolution of our industry-leading solutions. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (engineering hardware design and software integration) mentor junior software developers and much more.

Well look to you for :

Contributing to the elaboration of the software specification and architecture in collaboration with the software architecture team.

Performing detailed design and coding of software components.

Setting up and managing the software development tool chain.

Specifying designing preparing and performing tests and verifications of a junior software developers deliverables.

Placing software work products under configuration management.

Supporting software / software integration alongside other software designers.

Supporting hardware / software integration in collaboration with hardware designers.

Sustaining software by addressing issues and ensuring its long-term viability.

Keeping informed of technological advancements through active techno watch.

Contributing to standardization efforts by using existing solutions or implementing reusable solutions including COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf).

Degree in Engineering or Masters degree in a relevant field.

Experience or understanding of software design development and integration.

Knowledge of vital or secure software development (desirable) and railway software development (desirable).

Proficiency in oral and written English communication skills.

Team management skills.

Ability to contribute to continuous improvement and apply processes and standards.

Strong adaptability to evolving technologies and a commitment to lifelong learning.
