Job Description
Responsible for conducting research and analysis to support procurement and operational strategies. Assist in the preparation of operational metrics and analysis to support the team and department.
Essential Job Duties :
- Assist with research and analysis in the following areas : purchase analytics, current purchase mix, conduct supply market review and support sourcing strategy development.
- Conduct quote and bid analysis.
- Generate various reports.
- Support the end-to-end process related to sourcing (economic evaluation, contract execution, system data flow, vendor invoicing compliance).
- Monitor and maintain vendor network data and existing pricing amendments.
- Develop strong cross functional working relationships with Operations, Finance and Legal.
- Interact with suppliers and organize and schedule meetings to assist in the efficiency of procurement operations.
- May assist in preparing formal RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
- Assume other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.3+ years experience.Preferred Qualifications :
Proficiency with the ADS replenishment system desired.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word & Excel.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.Regularly use moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor / manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment :
Work is primarily sedentary : must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
